GREEN GHOST ?

This guy or gal  has been tagging around the quarter and the marigny lately in green paint.

I wish I had gotten more snaps of his or hers work before he or she started getting greyed.

The one that got greyed that I liked the best was   "jawbone talk   jawbone eat "

These are the only two I was able to get a snap of.

Has anyone else seen this guys work?

GENTILLY FOUR WHEELIN'

This kid made my mothers day.

I cooked Steaks , Red Bliss Potatoes  w/ peppers , onions and garlic , and Asparagus on the grill.

Spent the day with my lovely wife.

Also spent the day gardening and not at work.

Seeing this kid put the cherry on top of the day.

This cat was winding out his barbie car electric motor to the point where you could hear it two blocks away.

I think he might of broke the land speed record of two m.p.h.

The only thing louder than his four wheeler was his laughter.

Thinking back to when I was his age I'm pretty sure in his head he had just won the X Games .

It was a laughter of pure joy.

I like the way the pic. turned out. The blur makes it look like he's haulin' ass

Lil' Giant Peja Head

Today I found a life size version of the giant Peja head while filling up my gas tank.

This was the first time I got a smile on my face at the gas station  in recent memory.

I stuck him on my mailbox.

Don't forget kids. Click on the image for full viewing pleasure.

My Profile Picture

Freinds have asked me about my profile pic.

It's from me and my beautiful wife's wedding in the old Algiers Court House in Algiers Point.

We had the honor to be wed by K.K. Norman the  "Love Judge"

My wife's dad was a  lawyer and later a judge in a small and old town to the north so the old courtroom brought back a lot of memories for her.

my goofy moment was as we walked out of the courthouse to catch the boat back to the quarters the bells were playing the wedding march.

having lived on the point for a few years during the eighties i was used to hearing the bells all the time and was thinking  wow thats a cool coincidence.

it wasnt until we were on the boat that i had that doh!!!!!! moment.

Mr.Moran was still the owner of the Absinthe house and he bought us several splits of fancy champagne.

Jeff Cooperman fed us his house smoked duck empanadas and gave us some good Sierra Nevada Draught.

Thanks Love Judge.

R.I.P. Mr Tony

Thank You  Coop.

Yall were part of the greatest day of my life.

SINGING FOR YOUR SUPPER

At the resturant we have a tradition where the band comes in and plays a song for the kitchen krewe before they order their meal.

Today it was "Didnt He Ramble" with a prelude of the Green Hornet Theme which is a play on Flight Of The Bumble Bee in honor of the Hornets win last night.

Thanks guys.
