I never met the man but his blog was a big part of my post Katrina therapy.
right after the storm he dogged gentilly as a whole and i wrote him about the diversity of our neighborhood.
he digested the info and changed his mind.
the cat was a thinker and a man.
I sent him these pics many months ago of us cooks making hogshead cheese at work on the sly because I knew he would like them and we are'nt supposed to show things that are for cook's consumption only.
I figured he would like to see the inner workings of how cooks and chefs amuse them selves.
i hope all who were touched by ash will think of his wife and his kids and at least by a t-shirt or hit the paypal fund for his fam.
thats all i could afford to do but at least it adds up.
